SMP Super Weather Resistant Silicon Modified Color Coated Board

SMP silicon modified polyester color coated board is a metal baking paint color coated board using SMP silicon modified resin coating on metal plate, and then baked at high temperature. The paint film has good hardness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance, and has good external durability and non-chalking, with a service life of 10-12 years, but the gloss retention and flexibility are limited.

Due to good abrasion resistance and scratch resistance, SMP silicon modified polyester color coated sheet is mainly used in mines and steel mills. Since the adhesion and processing properties of silicon modified polyester are not ideal, it is not suitable for the processing occasions of multiple molding.

As polyester contains reactive group -OH/-COOH, it is very easy to react with other polymer compounds, and the modified polyester has improved the light resistance and chalking resistance. The hardness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance of the coating film are improved by using the modified polyester coated on the steel plate, and it is the silicon modified polyester color coated plate with good external durability and non-powdering property.
